This kit replaces all of the electrolytic capacitors in a Kenwood Basic C1 Pre-amp with high quality Nichicon capacitors. The kit includes Nichicon MUSE, FG and FW series capacitors that are designed to give premium sound quality when compared to general purpose capacitors.

This relay replaces the muting relay in a Kenwood Basic C1 or C2 preamplifier. Kenwood produced different variations of the Basic C1, some which included a relay with a removable clear plastic cover. The relays with the clear removable cover are not sealed. This relay is sealed, so the contacts will not become contaminated or corroded.
